PBIS

Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports

The BEHS Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) plan was developed by a team of teachers and administrators for the purposes of improving school climate, teaching students pro-social skills, and improving student achievement.

Using a variety of data, the PBIS team worked with the entire faculty and staff to develop and refine a set of school-wide expectations: Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.

Each day, all members of the BEHS learning community attempt to foster and teach these expectations through modeling, posters or other visual reminders, and positive reinforcement. *
