Important!! Spectator Guidelines and Expectations
Hello Lancer Staff, Students and Families and welcome to the 26-27 fall athletic season! In efforts to keep things safe and orderly at our athletic contests, the following expectations will be followed at all events throughout the year.
Again this year, there will be no charge for Bristol residents to attend contests on our campus.
Bristol Eastern High School students may be required to scan into our athletic contests using the Power School Attendance System. This is the same system used to enter our building on a regular basis. If students do not have their Identification Card or the App downloaded on their phone for scanning purposes they may not be allowed entrance into the fields or gymnasium. They will enter at the “Home Gate”.
Bristol non-student residents must provide Identification at the gate signifying that they are a Bristol resident and they will be allowed to enter at no charge. They will enter at the “Home Gate”.
Any Bristol Public Schools Student who does not attend Bristol Eastern but would like to attend our contests must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the game/event. They will enter with appropriate identification at our “Home Gate”. They will enter at no charge.
Any non-resident, be it adult or child, will be required to enter through our “Visitor Gate”. All visitors that are non-Bristol residents will be charged the traditional gate fee. Again, any non-BEHS students will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Our scholars are reminded that they also serve as representatives of our school and district. Scholars and spectators are expected to behave in a manner that will bring credit to themselves and Bristol Schools. All BPS students will follow the student code of conduct at school activities while attending BPS home games and when attending games off campus to support Bristol High School athletes.
Additionally, scholars and parents should familiarize themselves with Policy 5144 Suspension and Expulsion. Expectations:
● Spectators/scholars will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner (no swearing, cat-calls, use of derogatory names, fighting, etc.).
● Smoking or use of alcohol is prohibited. This rule pertains to all home and away contests. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in disciplinary action by the administration.
● Spectators/scholars will not be allowed to leave the stadium/contest/performance and return. ● Spectators/scholars will be required to sit in the bleachers or designated area except when they are purchasing items from the concession stand or using the restrooms.
● Spectators/scholars, who throw food, drink, or other items will be escorted from the venue, will not be allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from the venue for the remainder of the school year.
● Pre-k through grade 8 students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caregiver readily identifiable at time of entry. Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to review behavior expectations and guidelines referenced above.
● Any spectator/scholar who demonstrates unbecoming behavior or behavior that violates BPS spectator expectations will be required to leave school grounds immediately. Reentry to future events will be determined on a case by case basis.
● At the conclusion of the contest, all spectators/scholars must immediately leave the field/arena, loitering is prohibited.
● All spectators/scholars attending school contests must have secured transportation and leave school grounds no more than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Spectators remaining beyond 15 minutes may be subject to restriction from future events.

¡Hola, personal, estudiantes y familias de Lancer, y bienvenidos a la temporada deportiva de otoño de 26-27! Con el fin de mantener la seguridad y el orden en nuestros eventos deportivos, se seguirán las siguientes normas en todos los eventos durante el año.
Nuevamente este año, la entrada a los eventos en nuestro campus será gratuita para los residentes de Bristol.
Es posible que se les pida a los estudiantes de Bristol Eastern High School que escaneen su entrada a nuestros eventos deportivos utilizando el sistema de asistencia PowerSchool. Este es el mismo sistema que se usa para ingresar a nuestro edificio regularmente. Si los estudiantes no tienen su tarjeta de identificación o la aplicación descargada en su teléfono para escanear, es posible que no se les permita la entrada a los campos o al gimnasio. Deberán ingresar por la "Puerta Principal" (Home Gate).
Los residentes de Bristol que no sean estudiantes deben presentar una identificación en la puerta que indique que son residentes de Bristol y se les permitirá la entrada sin costo. Ingresarán por la "Puerta Principal" (Home Gate).
Cualquier estudiante de las Escuelas Públicas de Bristol que no asista a Bristol Eastern pero que desee asistir a nuestros eventos debe estar acompañado por un adulto durante la duración del juego o evento. Ingresarán con la identificación correspondiente en nuestra "Puerta Principal" (Home Gate). Su entrada será gratuita.
Cualquier no residente, ya sea adulto o niño, deberá ingresar por nuestra "Puerta de Visitantes" (Visitor Gate). A todos los visitantes que no sean residentes de Bristol se les cobrará la tarifa tradicional de entrada. Nuevamente, cualquier estudiante que no sea de BEHS deberá estar acompañado por un adulto.
Se les recuerda a nuestros estudiantes que también son representantes de nuestra escuela y distrito. Se espera que los estudiantes y espectadores se comporten de una manera que enorgullezca a ellos mismos y a las escuelas de Bristol. Todos los estudiantes de BPS seguirán el código de conducta estudiantil en las actividades escolares, al asistir a los juegos locales de BPS y al asistir a juegos fuera del campus para apoyar a los atletas de Bristol High School.
Además, los estudiantes y padres deben familiarizarse con la Política 5144 sobre Suspensión y Expulsión. Normas:
● Los espectadores y estudiantes se comportarán de manera apropiada (sin groserías, abucheos, uso de nombres despectivos, peleas, etc.).
● Se prohíbe fumar o consumir alcohol. Esta regla se aplica a todos los eventos locales y de visitante. El incumplimiento de estas normas dará lugar a medidas disciplinarias por parte de la administración.
● No se permitirá a los espectadores y estudiantes salir del estadio, evento o presentación y regresar. ● Los espectadores y estudiantes deberán sentarse en las gradas o en el área designada, excepto cuando compren artículos en el puesto de refrigerios o usen los baños.
● Los espectadores o estudiantes que arrojen comida, bebidas u otros artículos serán escoltados fuera del lugar, no se les permitirá el reingreso y se les puede prohibir la entrada al lugar por el resto del año escolar.
● Los estudiantes desde prekínder hasta el octavo grado deben estar acompañados por un padre, tutor o cuidador que sea fácilmente identificable en el momento de la entrada. Se recomienda encarecidamente a los padres y tutores que repasen las expectativas de comportamiento y las pautas mencionadas anteriormente.
● Cualquier espectador o estudiante que demuestre un comportamiento inapropiado o que viole las normas para espectadores de BPS deberá abandonar los terrenos escolares de inmediato. El reingreso a futuros eventos se determinará caso por caso.
● Al finalizar el evento, todos los espectadores y estudiantes deben abandonar inmediatamente el campo o la arena; está prohibido deambular sin propósito.
● Todos los espectadores y estudiantes que asistan a eventos escolares deben tener transporte asegurado y abandonar los terrenos escolares a más tardar 15 minutos después de que termine el juego. Los espectadores que permanezcan más de 15 minutos pueden estar sujetos a restricciones para futuros eventos.
