College Credit Bearing Courses for Next School Year at BEHS
Hello, Lancers and families,
I cannot believe we are approaching the last third of the school year! School counselors and I are working on course selections for students, building a master schedule, and creating schedules for all students that meet their individual needs.
All high school students are challenged to take a college-level course before graduating. You might wonder, Why is that? The first thing that comes to mind is earning credit toward your college career, which may save you money in the future. However, just as important, there is a great benefit to engaging in these courses: learning how to juggle different tasks, how to study, and gaining an appreciation for challenging academic rigor, all while under the direct supervision of a teacher. The experience is not about how you perform on an exam. The skills developed will serve you well in all future endeavors.
We have elective classes in all areas, so there is something for everyone! Whether interested in art, music, science, or business, there is something for everyone. There are courses available that will connect to all interests and plans. Take a look at the course list and go to the Program of Studies for specific course information. There is still time to enroll in a class for the 2026-27 school year.
Although some of these classes carry a cost, this should not be a barrier to enrollment. There are opportunities for financial assistance. Please contact me for more information.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can provide additional information.
Have a great rest of your day.
